Partior aims to make digital clearing and settlement more efficient, reliable and secure for financial institutions worldwide by harnessing the key features of blockchain and smart contracts — programmability, immutability and traceability — to address the industry’s longstanding pain points.


There is an opening for an experienced Product Owner to lead the charge on our mission to re-engineer the fabric of interbank payment transaction processing for the global financial services industry. The ideal candidate will have deep wholesale payments domain expertise and strong technical acumen required to envision and articulate product features and roadmap to engineering teams.


Objectives of this Role

● Collaborate with stakeholders to create a vision and concept of our interbank payment transaction processing product.

● Take lead of feature development, prioritisation scrum teams, defining product vision, roadmap, and growth opportunities, communicating with stakeholders throughout the project.

● Work with internal and external stakeholder to analyse needs and align product roadmap to strategic goals.

● Work closely with product management/business teams to create and maintain a product backlog according to strategic objectives.

● Keep up with agile/scrum best practices and trends.


Daily and Monthly Responsibilities

● Plan and prioritize product feature backlog and development for the product.

● Develop detailed product feature specifications and ensure they’re clearly understood by the development teams.

● Assess value, develop cases, and prioritize stories, epics, and themes to ensure work aligns with product strategy.

● Actively mitigate roadblocks impacting successful team completion of release/sprint goals.

● Lead the product-release plans and set expectations for delivery of new functionalities.

● Serve as the product ambassador internally and externally, sharing knowledge and answering questions related to the product.


Required Skills and Qualifications

● Bachelor’s degree in related discipline.

● 5+ years’ experience in wholesale payments domain.

● In-depth knowledge of agile process and principles.

● Understanding of business value around feature/functions specific to wholesale payments domain.

● Outstanding communication, presentation, and leadership skills

● Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills.

● Able to effectively manage conflicting stakeholder needs.

● Wholesale payment technology expertise.


Preferable Individual qualities

● Solution-driven: Practical and resourceful.

● Hands-on; willing and able to assist with ad-hoc requests from other teams.

● Has learning agility to keep abreast of latest technology and best practices

● Team player and works well in a team that values open communication
