Job Summary
· Our Company is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Standby Generator Salesman to join our team.
· The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting and selling standby generators to both residential and commercial clients.
· The Standby Generator Salesman will need to have a thorough understanding of the product, its features and benefits, and be able to effectively communicate this information to potential customers.
· The ideal candidate will be results-driven, possess strong communication skills, and have a proven track record of success in sales.
Key Responsibilities
· Promote and sell standby generators to residential and commercial clients.
· Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the product and its features and benefits.
· Conduct product demonstrations to potential customers and explain the benefits of standby generators.
· Build and maintain relationships with customers to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
· Generate leads through various methods including cold-calling, referrals, and networking.
· Achieve sales targets and goals set by the company.
· Maintain accurate records of all sales and customer interactions.
· Collaborate with other members of the sales team to develop effective sales strategies.
Requirements
· High school diploma or equivalent required.
· Bachelor's degree in business or a related field is preferred.
· Proven track record of success in sales, preferably in the standby generator industry.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
· Must be able to effectively prioritize and manage time.
· Knowledge of standby generators and related technologies is preferred.
· Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
