Job Summary

Responsible for the planning, organizing and supervision of all warehouse & logistics operations and have responsibility to oversee warehouse team members (Picking/Packing/Shipping/Admin/Distribution) staff in the department.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, schedule and arrange manpower to support daily operation workload ensuring that operational cost is managed well to budget.
  • Facilitate, provide guidance and assistance to ensure compliance, on time delivery to manufacturing & customers with timely transaction into SAP.
  • Inventory management and ensure high cycle count accuracy.
  • Ensure proper handling of non conformance and disposition of material.
  • Drive and engaged continuous improvement program to promote automation, continuous/seamless flow of products, cost improvement, ensuring customer service excellent and minimum operational cost.
  • Proactive to continuously drive for improvements in 5S, ISO14000, Safety, Quality, Cost and space utilization.
  • Organize and consolidate customer special documentation or other specific requirement into standard shared folder. To ensure records are properly compiled and kept for future references.
  • Plan/monitor associates development plan and learning needs.
  • Monitor and track to ensure that headcount and spending within the budget.
  • Address any disciplinary or conflict issues. Troubleshoot and resolve problems related to operations that are beyond the capability of team members.
  • Raise CB2 for forecasted capital expenditures, follow up on the purchase requisitions, purchase orders and implementation. Update into Flowtrix.
  • Coordinate equipment maintenance, calibration, inspection and any repairs of warehouse equipment.
  • Coordinate with 3PL on the system updating and transfer of stock from plant to designated warehouse storage. In addition, manage direct shipments from the plant to specific customers. Work with 3PL on managing non-confirming and/or damaged products.
  • Lead in addressing both internal and external customer complaint. Provide investigation reporting, constructive corrective/preventive, implementation and submission of CAPA into system.
  • Ensure Warehouse operation procedure, training document and record are updated.
  • Perform annual appraisal review, provide recommendation for upgrading/promotion, leave approval, and disciplinary action.
  • Promote Safety works environment, awareness, compliance to safety requirement and develop risk assessment.
  • Submit and maintain warehouse relevant monthly reports for management review.
  • Enforce compliance to quality system, SOX and GMP requirements. Support internal/external audits.
  • To support filing of application and license management of materials and meet all customs regulatory and its pertaining import & export documents requirements.
  • Safety & ISO 14001 Environmental accountability: Ensure a safe, healthy and environmentally-friendly workplace by observing Company’s rules and procedures. Active involvement in prevention, elimination of potential safety hazards and participation in activities which promotes recycling, replacement and reduction of resource materials.
  • Safety & health accountability: Safety and health are important to BD and we encourage the observance of all safety programs and training assigned to you. Such programs are to be attended in a timely manner to ensure that work tasks carried out are in accordance to our safety guidelines and SOPs.
  • Performs other related duties and assignments as required.
