Assistant Manager, New Energy

Job Responsbililties

  • Discover and explore business opportunities in the pioneering new energy and decarbonization space. Projects are centered around carbon capture utilization and sequestration and low carbon fuels (e.g. hydrogen, ammonia and sustainable aviation fuels) in Singapore and the region
  • Build market position by identifying, defining, developing, and closing business relationships
  • Identify trendsetter ideas by researching industry and related events, publications, and announcements
  • Screen potential business deals by analyzing technical requirements, designs, market strategies, deal requirements, and financials
  • Evaluate technical options and optimize technical designs to enhance commercial economics
  • Develop techno-economic models for the business opportunities
  • Examine risks and potentials for the business opportunities
  • Close new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts, integrating contract requirements with business operations and organization’s compliances
  • Work closely with the other Lines of Business as required to achieve objectives
  • Managing relationship among stakeholders
  • Such other duties and responsibilities as may be reasonably requested by your immediate supervisor / the head of department from time to time

Job Requirements

  • Degree / Diploma in Chemical, Environmental Engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant working experience in related areas
  • Good market knowledge on hydrogen/ammonia or CCUS-related topics
  • Relevant hands-on experience in designing developing technical and financial models for projects will be advantageous
  • Excellent written and communication and presentation skills and proficient in Microsoft Words, Excel and Powerpoint
  • Able to work independently as well as a good team-player
  • Good problem-solving skills and able to cope with executing multiple tasks within assigned schedule
  • Suitably qualified candidates will be considered for Deputy Manager position
