Job Description
Pre-Tender
- Review construction plans, drawings and Bill of Quantity to prepare accurate quantity calculations and cost estimates.
- Gather quotes from different trades by conducting Request for Quotation (RFQ) briefing sessions with subcontractors and suppliers.
- Propose and recommend quotations for tender submissions through price comparison and costing summary
- Propose cost analysis and cost reduction strategies to enhance overall project value
- Negotiate contractual terms and methods of construction with subcontractors or suppliers to establish a win-win scenario for all parties without compromising on the quality of project delivery.
- Prepare estimated Project Budget to submit for the Project Tender.
Post-Tender
- Timely management of multiple payment cycles by preparing sub-contracts, variation orders, payment claims, payment response, interim valuation and final account, sample boards and material submission.
- Negotiate contractual terms and methods of construction with subcontractors or suppliers to establish a win-win scenario for all parties.
- Utilise value engineering and cost analysis to enhance overall project value.
- Monitor Actual Project Cost vs Planned Project Budget and propose solutions to address overruns.
- Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable via Client progress claims submissions and Subcontractors' payment response, to ensure healthy project cash flow.
- Provide Management Reporting on Project Financials via reports generated from Synergix
- Execute project procurement with Suppliers and Subcontractors, including sourcing for alternative Suppliers and Subcontractors.
- Monitor and update project budget into ERP system (Synergix)
- Monitor and update project delivery actuals into ERP system (Synergix)
