Roles & Responsibilities
- Able to understand and follow directions/orders from supervisors.
- Practice safe diving techniques
- When in a customer’s work site, comply with rules and regulations on safety and work methods.
- Comply with established Operation Control Procedure.
- Wear appropriate personal Protective Equipment at all times.
- Adhere to Company’s Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental policies and procedures.
- Participate in hazard identification and risk assessment.
- Perform underwater activity and any other tasks assigned by Supervisor.
- To ensure the equipment is functional and in good order before entering the water.
· The logbook is to be kept up to date with statutory information on each dive.
· Report to diver supervisor if observe any unsafe act / unsafe condition
· Act as the standby diver when instructed
· Diving compliance in accordance with SS511 & Company codes and IMCA and HSE standards
· Ensure that all diving and safety procedures are read and understood.
- To ensure the equipment is cleaned and stowed, and to highlight any equipment faults to the attention of the Dive Supervisor upon the completion of the dive.
Job requirements:
· Certificate of Training from an IMCA-accredited Learning Service Provider.
· Be over 18 years of age and A Fit to Dive Medical Certificate from a Hyperbaric and diving medical practitioner, who is registered in Singapore.
· Excellent communication skills.
· Completed diving First aid training
· CPR and AED certification
· Ability to Communicate effectively with dive supervisor, Surveyor, and deck crew.
· Knowledge in relevant diving emergencies.
· Knowledge in umbilical management
· Ensure that all diving and safety procedures are read and understood.
· Knowledge in safe operation of HP water jetting equipment, hydraulic impact guns, hydraulic grinders, air lift bags, lifting equipment, oxyarc cutting equipment (Refer IOGP 471), bolt tensioning equipment etc.
· Knowledge in underwater class UWILD inspection for MODUs/MOUs
· Knowledge in permit to work procedure and Risk assessment.
·CSCUBA and SSDE completed applicants will be preferable.
