Responsibilities/Requirements
The personnel will be stationed at the school’s General Office Reception Counter. He/She will provide administrative support to the school, assist in managing sick pupils, and liaise with pupils and their parents/guardians. The duties include all the following:
1. Answer telephone calls, convey messages to teachers & attend to public enquiries as a first level support.
2. Receive all walk-in pupils, parents, delivery man, visitors etc. and attend to their requests (this include going to the classrooms to bring the pupils down to the General Office or vice versa).
3. Assist staff in bus booking and Act as a Liaison Officer with the Bus Contractor.
4. Contact parents and liaise with parents on behalf of our teachers.
5. Attend to the sick/injured pupils and keep Sick Bay records.
6. Manage delivery of items (such as label and record items, bring the delivery man to the storage room outside the GO, follow up with staff to receive items).
7. Perform simple administrative work (e.g. prepare/verify/manage information/documents, scan/fax/photocopy/laminate documents).
8. Assist in preparing teaching resources.
Skills and Experience
1. Good verbal communication skills in English and able to read simple English.
2. Willingness to provide good customer service. One who has experience in customer service is preferred.
3. Willingness to attend to the sick/injured.
4. Able to work as a team.
