Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Sales Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for spearheading sales initiatives, driving growth, and enhancing our gym's overall sales performance. This role is pivotal in increasing internal gym sales, boosting corporate event bookings, and developing innovative programs to attract new clients and retain existing ones.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy Development and Implementation:
  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to increase gym memberships and product sales.
    • Analyze market trends and customer feedback to continuously refine sales approaches.
    • Set and meet ambitious sales targets through strategic planning.
  • Corporate Event Promotion and Management:
    • Proactively pursue corporate clients for event bookings, leveraging the gym’s unique facilities.
    • Coordinate with operations for seamless event execution and develop tailored packages for corporate clients.
  • Marketing and Promotion Collaboration:
    • Work with the marketing team to create promotional materials and campaigns for gym services and events.
    • Utilize digital marketing and social media to enhance visibility and attract new clients.
    • Monitor the effectiveness of marketing strategies and adjust as needed.
  • Program Development and Enhancement:
    • Collaborate with gym instructors to design and launch innovative fitness programs and climbing courses.
    • Gather customer feedback to improve and diversify gym offerings.
  • Team Leadership and Performance Management:
    • Manage and mentor the sales team, setting performance goals and monitoring progress.
    • Foster a culture of excellence and accountability within the team.
  • Client Relationship and Partnership Building:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key corporate clients and industry partners.
    • Network to create opportunities for collaboration and sponsorship.
  • Sales Reporting and Analysis:
    • Oversee gym sales performance, providing regular reports and insights to senior management.
    • Stay informed about industry trends to maintain the gym's competitive edge.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
  • Proven experience in sales and business development, preferably in the fitness, sports, or hospitality industry.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing a sales team.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Creative and strategic thinking skills.
  • Passion for fitness and knowledge of the climbing industry is a plus.
