Job Summary:
A receptionist is often the first point of contact for visitors and callers to an organization. They play a crucial role in creating a positive first impression and ensuring the smooth functioning of the reception area. This role also entails the support of after school engagement programme.
Job Responsibilities:
Reception and Administration Services
- Attend to telephone calls and walk-in customers (for example, students, parents, vendors and visitors).
- Take down and convey messages from parents/vendors to the school leaders, teaching staff and non-teaching staff.
- Attend to students who are unwell and contact their parents, if necessary.
- Record details of students who are allowed to leave the school before dismissal time.
- Record incoming and outgoing mails.
- Distribute and place incoming mails for staff in their mail boxes.
- Count and bundle items for collection by students.
- Alert the staff-in-charge when the stock level of the stationery is low.
- Filing of documents into relevant files
- Other administrative matters related to the General Office
After School Engagement Services
- Connect and build good rapport with target students.
- Monitor their attendance and report to staff-in-charge concerned regarding student well-being.
- Assist with the coordination of student activities.
- Gather student feedback for improvement and make necessary referrals to school personnel concerned.
Requirements:
- Minimally 6 years of direct relevant working experience handling Reception and Administration services
- 3 years of direct relevant working experience in After School engagement Services, preferably in a school environment.
Specifications:
- Location: Bukit Merah
- Working Hours: Weekdays, 7am - 4.30pm.
- Contract period: Jan'24 - Dec'24
