Alitec is a business software integration company. We focus primarily on Odoo ERP, a python-based software. To ensure our business growth, we are looking for a junior programmer, with a focus on server side application development.

Alitec ODOO a team is looking for a Python / Odoo Developer. At this position, you will analyze, design, develop, maintain test, deploy and provide support on applications throughout project life cycle. Do you have an interest in business applications? Responsibilities:
- Analyse customer needs, design and build solutions with Odoo.
- Consistently create quality software that meets specific design and requirements on stated timelines.
- Enhance applications, develop and configure features and functionalities that support business requirements.
- Assist the technical support department to ensure 3rd level support.
- Involvement in the Odoo project and community.
Requirement:
- Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
- Object Oriented design and coding
- Working experience with Python
- Development experience in Java, or .Net
- Working experience with relational database design and modeling.
- Good understanding of front-end technologies such as Javascript, HTML5 and CSS
- Working experience with relational database management systems (PostgreSQL, a plus)
- Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle in an Agile environment, quality assurance and software testing a plus
- Experience with an ERP system, a plus
- Experience working on Linux/Unix system, a plus- Knowledge of Odoo, a plus Profile .
- 1 to 2 years of experience in object-oriented programming
- Motivated, detail-oriented, responsible
- Able to work under limited supervision and in a fast-paced team/environment
- Passion for software design and development
- Strong interest in Open Source
- Experience with developing REST API will be an advantage
- Experience in mobile app development will be an advantage
- Experience with Python frameworks such as Django, Flask will be an advantage
- Ability to work in both Windows and Linux environments will be an advantage
Background:
