- Responsibilities:
- Working closely with business end-users, market data sourcing team data owners, data stewards, and data analysts to plan, implement, and support metadata capture, cataloguing and maintenance.
- Demonstrate technical expertise in the aforementioned areas related to metadata and market data.
- Manage operations and maintain SLAs.
- Implement automation in metadata collection.
- Collaborate with data management, engineering, architecture, and governance teams.
- Perform data and metadata onboarding, quality, modeling, lineage, and cleansing.
- Check discoverability, access controls, optimization, and cataloguing.
- Execute, maintain, and manage the whole metadata lifecycle.
- Conduct requirement workshops with stakeholders, analyze and translate business and other requirements holistically into strategies, plans, and actions.
- Design and implement scalable metadata-related data pipelines and data service modules with robustness in mind to support the growing demands from business users.
- Analyze and resolve day-to-day operational incidents.
- Analyze systems operations data (SLAs, customer satisfaction, delivery quality, team efficiency etc.) to identify actionable trends for continual improvements.
- Perform data, application, and system checking and testing (e.g. UAT), application of ‘Continuous integration and Continuous Delivery’ (CICD) and go-live.
Mandatory Skills-
- Bachelor degree from a recognized tertiary institution.
- At least 3 years of data-related working experience.
- Proficiency in SQL.
- Good at working with details and is meticulous in operations and tasks.
- Good team player, with strong analytical skills and enjoy complex problem solving.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong interpersonal and people leadership skills to interact with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong presentation skills
Skillsets (Good to have)
- Principles, key controls, and processes relating to data, metadata, and collection.
- Data catalogue systema and associated workflow.
- Knowledge in Snowflake, AWS, and Informatica.
- Experience in Jira, Python, Scala, and Javascript.
- Experience in working with market data contracts from data vendors (e.g. Bloomberg, FactSet, ICE, MSCI, Refinitiv, etc.) and capturing contract specific information
