Job Scope:
- To perform intraoperative monitoring for surgical procedures as directed and be able to provide continuous technical interpretation throughout the surgery to the surgical team.
- To establish knowledge and understanding in anatomy and nervous system in human.
- To ensure intraoperative monitoring system is set-up and prepare and electrodes for op-patients before procedure.
- To report baseline parameter of IONM to the surgeon and to analyse the neurological deficits of patient’s pre-op status. Assures that the surgical team is notified of potential issues during operation in time.
- Assess the causes of the change in IONM parameters when requested by surgeons. To report red-flag cases to surgeons and prepare formal case report on time

- To keep abreast of current developments in the IOM field and participate in educational conferences, meetings, and/or other academic and research activities
- To conduct audit on the documentation of cases and update the required statistical report on IONM service.
Job Requirements:
- A recognized Degree in Medicine / Life Science / Biomedical Engineering or relevant fields
- Understanding of Singapore Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines and International Conference on Harmonization GCP guidelines.
- Candidate with knowledge of using IONM equipment, infection control, aseptic and sterile techniques is at advantage
