Summary:

Develops, implements and/or maintains one or more accounting systems: Journal entries, General Ledger, Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payable, Revenue Reconciliation, etc. Reviews and interprets financial reporting requirements, rules and regulations. Balances books and prepares profit and loss, cash flow, income and balance sheet statements. Monitors and develops monthly reports of revenues and expenditures for projects. Provides record of assets, liabilities and other financial transactions. May prepare federal, state and local reports and tax returns. May assist in the setup of processes and procedures that properly capture, track and report revenue, including deferred revenue, in accordance with the company revenue recognition policy. May generate revenue reports for internal and/or external use. May interpret reports and records for managers/stakeholders. May be involved in reviewing, tracking and maintaining billing information in the financial systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance with U.S. GAAP and other accounting regulations.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Preparing/Reviewing appropriate ledger entries and maintaining the general ledger system, including Fixed Assets and Lease Accounting
  • Perform and ensure that month-end/year-end closings are completed timely and accurately
  • Assist in ensuring that statutory accounts and tax returns are submitted on an accurate and timely basis.
  • Maintain Sarbanes Oxley compliance for financial reporting.
  • Maintain compliance with various data protection acts when sharing information around the world.
  • Finance System administrator for Blackline
  • Managing/Supervising the day-to-day activities of the Team Members
  • Preparation/Review of accounts reconciliations and monthly reports
  • Assist in ongoing and upcoming projects
  • Liaising with different stakeholders and outsourced vendors
  • Any other duties as assigned by Supervisor

Qualifications and requirements include:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in accounting
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
  • Experience in Enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems in the finance application area
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Ability to lead projects and analyze and resolve problems
  • Ability to lead a team independently
  • Enthusiastic team player with strong interpersonal skills
  • Good oral and communication skills in English
  • Ability to read Chinese
