What you will be working on
- Contribute to the shaping of the enterprise IT architecture, standards, solutioning and implementation approaches.
- Develop, enhance and upkeep enterprise architecture assets using various architectural tools in collaboration with architecture domain experts.
- Communicate the architecture and seek positive influence and buy-in of stakeholders to adopt and operationalise architectural principles, standards, practices and guidelines.
- Collaborate with project teams in solution architecture reviews, providing technical consultation and support to facilitate the alignment of architectural principles and project implementation.
- Participate in API Gateway governance processes and practices, collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure the effective management and operation of APIs.
- Engage system stakeholders to compile IM8 governance reports for management approval and subsequent submission to regulatory authorities.
- Stay up-to-date with latest and emerging software trends, methodologies and technologies.
- Evaluate and propose the appropriate technologies, methodologies, process improvement practices that enhance project delivery, reduce cost and increase agility.
- Undertake knowledge sharing initiatives to promote technical proficiency of project teams.
What we are looking for
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in consulting, review, design, and implementation of solution architecture across multiple applications and platforms.
- Experienced with cloud-based, web and server-side enterprise application design and implementations with sound knowledge of traditional and trending software architectures, Dev and DevSecOps, enterprise design patterns, and software development approaches, tools and methodologies.
- Able to independently analyse and identify comprehensive solutions considering all functional implications while developing a workable solution.
- Demonstrates strong writing, interpersonal and communication skills to engage, influence and win buy-in and commitment from key stakeholders across all levels.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and possessing a keen sense to detail, thriving both independently and within a team while being driven, technically creative and open-minded.
- Proven ability, versatility, and ease in picking up new and unfamiliar technical skills.
- Industry certifications in Agile, cloud or relevant domains will be advantageous.
- Preferably with experience in delivering Government IT projects, especially in GCC.
