Patient Service Officer
- Provide a welcoming experience with greeting patients, addressing inquiries, assisting with registrations, and scheduling of appointments
- Ensure proper records of patient details and interactions
- Pack and dispense eyedrops and oral medications accurately
- Perform billing duties, attending to billing inquiries, submission of outpatient claims on various insurance portals and closing of accounts and preparation of daily sales
- Handle administrative duties such as phone calls, voicemails, emails, paperwork and coordinating with various departments
- Maintain a well-organized reception area
- Assist with inventory management and take part in monthly stock take, conduct investigations for stock discrepancies
- Collate weekly statistics of patient visits as required
- Place orders for clinic stationary monthly
- Provide doctors with daily projection of patient visits and surgeries as required
- Confirm, reschedule, and shift appointments as needed
- Stay up-to-date with company policies and product knowledge to provide clear and accurate information
- Covering of branches as required
- Any other duties as assigned by the Patient Service Manager or the Management
Requirements
- Diploma holder and/or one with relevant experience will be preferred
- Good command of written and spoken English
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- PC literate and good proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Pleasant disposition with good communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluency in a second language or dialect(s) will be an advantage
- Able to commit to 5.5 days work week
