The M&E Coordinator is responsible for the coordination and execution of all M&E works at site in a timely manner.
A summary of the responsibilities of this position are as follows:
- Understand contract requirements and M&E specifications in order to monitor progress, quality of workmanship and compliance with project requirements/construction schedule.
- Liaise with design consultants on the design intent.
- Coordinate with in-house architectural & structural team to minimize discrepancies.
- Check and prepare material sample with shop drawing submission.
- Chair M&E coordination meeting.
- Prepare M&E coordination drawings and liaise with Architectural Coordinators and Design Engineers for drawing issuance.
- Assess, prepare and submit progress claims for project consultants & subcontractors.
- Coordinate and assist site superintendent on installation and maintenance of site temporary utilities services.
- Adherence to safety practices in the work place.

Requirements
- Degree/ Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University
- Minimum 3 years’ M&E service experience in large scale building / civil projects with an A1 main contractor
- Understand contract requirement and M&E specification
- Understand BIM concept and be able to supervise BIM Operator/ Technician’s daily job scope
