Main Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and execute a comprehensive technology stack strategy, embracing a security-first mindset at every step.
- Direct and mentor a team of software/system engineers to create seamless integrations between diverse technologies and platforms, optimizing overall system performance.
- Champion an automation-first approach, crafting automated workflows and playbooks to enhance Security Operations Centers/Network Operations Centers operator and analyst efficiency.
- Manage ongoing operational activities, including the orchestration and automation of systems development, configuration, and management.
- Develop comprehensive training materials and documentation for support staff post-implementation of new tools/platforms.
- Review both new and existing system designs and offer recommendations to enhance performance, security, and availability for our clients.
- Provide hands-on coaching, mentoring, and knowledge transfer to support team members.
- Thrive on resolving complex issues associated with massive-scale operations, always keeping global scalability and efficiency at the forefront of decision-making.
Requirements
- Possess a bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in the IT Managed Services Provider (MSP) / Managed Security Services Provider (MSSP) space, with a preference for CISSP certification.
- Experience with physical security systems such as enterprise access control systems (ACS) and video surveillance (VMS) is advantageous.
- Prior experience in implementing IT Service Management (ITSM) solutions, automation frameworks (e.g., Puppet, Salt, Ansible, Chef), Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) platforms, and data lakes is preferred.
- Exhibit superior communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, adhering to the principle of keeping everyone informed. Particularly essential when working with geographically distributed teams.
- Demonstrate an extensive understanding of managed services business and delivery models.
- Prioritize a customer-centric approach, finding solutions to meet their needs and aligning internal and external stakeholders accordingly.
- Results-driven, security-focused professional with a passion for optimizing technology stacks on a global scale.
