Presales and Implementation Senior Engineer/Manager
Job Summary: Onion Technology (OT) Pte Ltd is a software provider that specializes in Hyperscale data center solutions. It is the APAC regional headquarters of Onion Software Inc., which was founded in Korea. We are currently seeking a highly skilled System Engineer with experience in data center, building management systems (BMS), and data center infrastructure management (DCIM) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of our clients' systems in the data center environment.
Job Description:
- We are looking for a talented Presales and Implementation Senior Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will work with our sales team and clients to provide technical expertise and support throughout the sales process. In addition, they will oversee the implementation of our solutions, ensuring a smooth transition from the sales process to implementation.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical expertise and support during the sales process, including presenting product demonstrations and answering technical questions.
- Understand client needs and propose solutions that meet their requirements.
- Collaborate with the sales team to create proposals and quotes that accurately reflect client needs.
- Manage the implementation process, including developing project plans and timelines, overseeing project execution, and ensuring successful delivery of solutions.
- Work closely with the client to ensure a smooth transition from sales to implementation.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and work with the appropriate team members to resolve them.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies, and share knowledge with the team and clients.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in data center environments, with a focus on enterprise software solutions.
- Strong technical skills, including knowledge of software architecture, databases, and programming languages.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience working with project management tools and methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
