Our client is from the Retail Industry. They are looking for a Logistics Management Trainee to assist their team in the next phase of their business. They are located in They are located at East – easily accessible.
Responsibility:
- Coordinate with the logistics teams at HQ in South Korea, internal stakeholders, vendors, freight forwarders, and 3PL regarding all matters related to logistics operations.
- Facilitate communication and translation between the HQ Logistics team in South Korea, the local logistics team, 3PL, and vendors.
- Oversee assigned logistics projects to ensure timely delivery and implementation, meeting specified deadlines.
- Ensure strict adherence to Singapore Customs practices, regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Conduct timely investigations and work with internal and external stakeholders to resolve any logistics or system issues.
- Participate in surveys for imported shipments at FTZ and licensed warehouses as needed.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between HQ Logistics, 3PL, and the Local Logistics team.
- Perform any additional ad-hoc duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.
Requirements:
- Min Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and logistics software applications
- Knowledge of logistics principles and practices
