Senior Clinic Physiologist

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated clinic physiologist to join our dynamic team in a high-volume retail healthcare setting. The successful candidate will be at the forefront of providing exceptional rehabilitation services to our patients, with a focus on manual therapies. Major Job Scope:

  • Conduct comprehensive consultations with patients, analyzing current and past health and lifestyle factors to understand individual needs.
  • Perform detailed physiological assessments, with a focus on musculoskeletal and functional evaluations.
  • Collaborate with diagnostic services to coordinate necessary tests and interpret results for diagnosis.
  • Develop personalized treatment plans based on physiological assessments and evidence-based practices.
  • Implement a variety of manual therapies and rehabilitation techniques in an open clinic setting.
  • Educate and guide patients on rehabilitation exercises and lifestyle modifications to support long-term recovery.
  • Foster positive relationships with patients, emphasizing trust and collaboration in the healing process.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare practitioners, providing and receiving referrals as needed for holistic patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely patient records, including progress notes and comprehensive treatment plans.
  • Manage a high volume of appointments each day, prioritizing patient care and satisfaction.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues to ensure smooth clinic operations and enhance patient outcomes.
  • Availability to work flexible hours as needed.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Physiology or related field.
  • Valid related practising licence and registrations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
  • Proficiency in a variety of manual therapies and rehabilitation techniques.
  • Familiarity with diagnostic imaging and the ability to interpret relevant reports.
