Job Overview
You will lead and provide the infrastructure support in the planning and implementation of infrastructure projects for the organisation.
You will play a vital role in expanding our healthcare infrastructure, improving operational efficiency, and enhancing patient experiences. Key Responsibilities
- Develop the Schedule of Accommodation based on healthcare guidelines and user inputs.
- Engage with various stakeholders including Healthcare organisations, consultants, contractors, and within internal departments to facilitate discussions, workshops, and alignment on project goals throughout concept schematic and detailed design phases.
- Layout Optimization with organisation's design principles and care model to optimize the layout of service modules within facilities, adhering to efficiency and service standards.
- Plan for manpower resources and furniture, fixtures and equipment needed for testing and commissioning of new facilities.
- Conduct relevant analysis to garner support from internal and external stakeholders, providing evidence for decision-making.
- Track and monitor infrastructural development progress, plan resource allocation, and facilitate the handover of new facilities.
- Lead feasibility studies and cost estimates for project funding and work plans, aligning with healthcare infrastructure standards.
- Manage infrastructure data and information, providing necessary input for procurement and evaluation.
- Lead procurement and evaluation for infrastructure projects, offering specifications and support as required.
- Perform contract administration and project management throughout project duration, including site meetings, documentation, sign-off, and ensuring quality and timely delivery.
- Oversee the design, coordination, and project management for Alteration and Addition (A&A) work in existing polyclinics.
- Develop proposals and recommendations for management decision-making related to capability development, capacity planning, optimization, and expansion.
- Provide regular status reports and updates on infrastructure projects and strategic proposals to senior management.
- Any other duties assigned by your Reporting Officer.
Job requirements
- Degree in Architecture, Building, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Project Management or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience, with a proven track record in polyclinic operations or healthcare infrastructure projects preferred.
- Resourceful and analytical, with ability to synergise data/information to support decision-making.
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, including change and relationship management.
- Independent, self-motivated, and adept at multi-tasking.
