Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Store Manager to lead the overall operation of our pet store. The Store Manager will play a pivotal role in maintaining the store's success and ensuring it runs efficiently while providing exceptional service to our customers and their pets.
Responsibilities:
1. Operational Leadership:
l Oversee all day-to-day operations of the pet store, including grooming, daycare services and retail.
l Maintain high standards of customer service and ensure the team provides a positive and welcoming experience to all visitors.
l Monitor inventory levels, stock rotation, and product availability to meet customer demands.
l Implement and enforce store policies and procedures to ensure a safe and compliant environment for pets and staff.
2. Team Management:
l Recruit, train, and manage a team of pet care professionals, groomers, and support staff.
l Foster a culture of teamwork, exceptional customer service, and dedication to pet well-being.
l Conduct regular staff evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and promote professional development.
l Ensure proper scheduling and coverage to meet customer needs.
3. Financial Management:
l Manage and track store financials, including budgets, revenue, expenses, and profitability.
l Implement pricing strategies and promotions to drive sales while maintaining profit margins.
l Prepare financial reports and forecasts for senior management.
l Monitor and control inventory costs and wastage.
4. Customer Experience:
l Ensure an exceptional and personalized experience for each customer and their pets.
l Address and resolve customer concerns and feedback promptly and professionally.
l Identify opportunities for enhancing the customer experience and implementing improvements.
5. Pet Care and Safety:
l Maintain the highest standards of pet safety, well-being, and cleanliness throughout the store.
l Oversee grooming and daycare services to ensure the welfare of all pets.

6. Community Engagement:
l Build and maintain relationships with the local pet community, including pet shelters, rescues, and pet-related businesses.
