Key responsibilities
- Analyze trade statistics and write market report
- Support trading and operations teams
- Provide timely, accurate and actionable insights to trading team and key customers to drive dicision making
- Develop, coordinate and support initiatives for technology and data for trading data analytics in conjunction with stakeholders
- Adhoc tasks assigned
Job requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Basic knowledge of trading business, risk management and an understanding of what information adds value
- Ability to quickly take disparate information and derive actionable insights
- Strong analytical and data gathering skill
- Experience with commodity supply and demand fundamentals and economics
- Prefer to have exposure to crude/fuel oil/products market
- Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems and execute under tight timelines
- Minimum of two years of commodity industry experience
- Microsoft office application
- Speak/read/write in English, understand Chinese/Mandarin
- Mature/independent/self-motivated/team player
