Job Responsibility:
Work closely with sales team, vendors, and partners to provide pre-sales technical support in developing and designing IT solutions and support for customer requirements.
- To provide quick yet thorough response to customer requests, developing technical design, considerations and solution proposal based on technology and our product offerings that meet or exceed customer needs.
- Lead the technical compliance when responding to customer requirements and validate solutions developed which usually involves integration between multiple products.
- Keep up to date on industry and product knowledge to provide technical expertise and perspective to sales team and customers through engagements, presentations, solution demonstrations and periodic updates.
- To provide consultation to prospective customers, to develop viable solutions, testing and evaluation.
- Work with post-sales team to ensure solution is delivered as proposed.

Requirement:
- Adapt and resourceful in leveraging documentations, internet resources and solution vendors resources to bridge knowledge on new or unfamiliar technologies.
- Experience in designing solutions required through consultative engagements with clients with considerations to business and technical viability.
- Familiarity with Public Sector project/purchase/landscape is preferable.
- Good knowledge and hands on experience (preferable) in any of the following areas:
LAN, WAN, SDN, NFV, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, Multicast and IPv6
Wireless Technologies such as 802.11ac/ax and Wireless Security
Network Security Products such as Firewalls, UTM, TAPS, Antivirus
Network Security technologies such as NAC, IAM, IPSec, anti-DDOS
DCI, Virtualization
Cloud Solutioning, eg. AWS, Azure
Enterprise Technologies such as AD, Backup & Storage, EAM
