Job Description
Cost Controlling:
- Manage costing systems, set standard and actual costs, and maintain the pricing system for standard products, analyzing manufacturing costs and profit.
- Develop cost structures, monitor project costs against budget, and ensure accurate closure of cost of goods sold for work orders.
Reporting & Finance Analysis:
- Prepare financial reports in compliance with accounting standards, liaise with statutory bodies and auditors, and contribute to budgeting and planning.
- Work closely with other departments to develop yearly budgets and quarterly forecasts that take into account the costs associated with producing goods. Making adjustments to the budget and forecast as needed.
- Provide regular reports to Corporate, communicate cost-related issues with other departments, and make recommendations for improvement.
The Successful Applicant
- Degree in Accountancy or equivalent; CPA/ACCA is a plus.
- Minimum 4 years of supervisory/management experience in audit, manufacturing, or high-tech industries.
- Knowledge of US GAAP and Sarbanes-Oxley is not a must, but beneficial
- Excellent communication, analytical, and financial management skills.
- Proven ability to work under tight schedules and handle multiple tasks independently.
- Proactive team player with cross-cultural effectiveness.
- Proficient in MS Excel, eg. macros, and understanding of process workflows will be beneficial
