Our client, a Japanese MNC in printing solutions is currently seeking candidates to join them as an IT Infrastructure Engineer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead or involve in projects as assigned
- Responsible for the overall IT infrastructure maintenance, project management and operations support
- New Technology assessment, installation, setup, and testing. Make and recommend system proposal and IT security for decision-making
- Plan, Prepare and Manage IT Budget
- Involve in IT roadmap and strategy planning by understanding implemented products technology’s lifecycle and roadmap
- Lead and drive existing core system technical refresh planning and execution
- Provides regular updates and reporting on a timely and accurate fashion
- Assist superior in establishing, maintaining, and enforcing IT procedure and policy governance
- Plan, lead, and direct fellow IT Engineer’s efforts towards assigned tasks and goals
- Remediate and rectify escalated issues or problems quickly and efficiently
System Support
- Manage and ensure effectiveness of IT security and improvements
- Ensure corporate infrastructure physical/logical security and availability
- Response to emergency network and server outages’ call as required
- Liaise with third party vendors for support and escalation
- Perform network and server account administrations and management
- Perform network management, monitoring, design, upgrade, and maintenance for Corporate, LAN, WAN, WIFI and equipment.
- Perform server management, patching, monitoring, back-up, restore and performance tuning.
- Responsible for system back-up and restore; Devise and ensure disaster recovery test is performed in accordance with the IT J-SOX policy
Job Requirements:
- Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology
- Minimum 5 years of experience in IT administration and maintenance
- Prior hands-on experience in L2 support for server / network
- Completed full cycles of medium to large scale projects
- Handled Medium/Large-scale Server and Network Farm
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Certified
- Knowledge of SOX/J-SOX/ISO or equivalent
- Prior regional exposure will be advantageous
