Job Duties:
- Ensure timely, accurate month-end closing and financial reporting to management
- Management of tasks performed by transactional activities performed by the offshore shared service finance team and Singapore finance assistant.
- Responsible for the full end accounting process and tasks, i.e AR & AP process, GL journal posting, bank reconciliation, inter-company reconciliation etc. This role requires extensive treasury function.
- Preparation and ownership of balance sheet schedules and reports
- Preparation of consolidated management accounts which includes foreign entities
- Ensure that billings and accruals are correctly accounted in the system
- Preparation of GST/VAT for submission to local requirements (including overseas)
- Statutory audit experience and knowledge of preparation of annual financial statements under general accounting principle and in line with group accounting policies.
- Assist in ad-hoc Finance projects and assignments from time to time.
Job Requirements:
- Degree/Diploma with specializations in Finance/Accounting
- Minimum experience of 5 years in similar role
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
- Strong business process and continuous improvement skills
- Excellent knowledge of MS Excel
