Job Role

This position is for technology Delivery Lead, as part of Consumer Banking Group Technology (CBGT) group within DBS, responsible for technology delivery of the remittance projects across the Digital platforms. We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented senior technical lead with strong technical, programming, analytical and collaboration skills. You will work closely with the Platform delivery leads, developers and product owners to deliver solutions that meet the business requirements and help deliver high quality software in accordance with the roadmap agreed with business.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and guidance to a team of developers in managing the delivery of projects across IAM platform
  • Willing to be technically hands-on and debug complex issues
  • Take on a product ownership mentality and think through short and long term goals and structure work accordingly
  • Ability to learn new concepts specifically in the security domain. Training on specific products will be provided
  • Must be very diligent in the SDLC process complemented by strong testing, documentation, and provide solution for monitoring of live systems .
  • Act as an escalation point whenever a risk to meeting project timelines is raised and provide support for risk/issue resolution.

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience on large complex projects, preferably in Banking domain.
  • 5-7 years of hands-on experience with with technical development, design and debugging, preferably within Banking.
  • Must have a strong understanding of DevOps methodologies and CI/CD pipelines
  • Good understanding of API first development and experience with microservices.
  • Must have good verbal as well as written communication skills and ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear manner.
  • Must be proactive, take full end to end ownership of delivery in a matrix setup.
  • Must have the ability to lead and challenge the status quo on development methodolgies.
  • A strong desire to automate manual tasks and identify opportunities through periodic reviews
  • BS degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent.
