Eigen Energy is a systems integrator for solar energy and electric vehicle charging infrastructure, with technical competencies in engineering and construction, energy management, software engineering and cross platform integration.
We are looking for an accounting intern who is able to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
The ideal candidate would likely fulfill most of the criteria below:
Responsibilities:
- Assist in Accounts receivables (AR) and Accounts payable (AP)
- Post journal entries to maintain General Ledger (GL)
- Maintaining accurate and complete financial records
- Assist in bank reconciliation and monitoring of outstanding payments
- Assist in month-end closing of accounts
- Bookkeeping, accounting, tax computation, and tax filing services
Requirements:
- Actively working towards a Degree in Accounting
- Basic understanding of accounting and financial principles
- Meticulous in handling sensitive information
- Proficient with Microsoft tools and computer skills
- Motivated to take on new challenges
- Strong desire to learn more about accounting and office operation
- Strong verbal and written communication skills

Learning Objectives:
- Understand the requirements and preparation of financial statements and tax submission
- Learn how to reconcile transactions with bank statement

- Gain exposure to accounting software
