The Chief Engineer at Skyline Luge Singapore is responsible for:
a) The management and control of all preventative maintenance on the chairlift, luge conveyors and luge carts with the aim to provide the highest levels of safety and comply with all relevant legislations, regulations and codes of practice.
b) Working closely Specialist Professional Engineers and Conformity Assessor to ensure all reports and documentation are completed and submitted in timely and efficient manner to relevant authorities in order ot obtaining relevant permits required by authorities pertaining to Luge carts and Chairlift.
c) Maintaining company policy for workplace Health and Safety, updating the Maintenance Manual and training maintenance staff and the chairlift rescue teams.
d) Assisting the Operation Manager in efficiently running the Chairlift and Luge operation as and when required.
The Chief Engineer takes up the role of a Ride Manager to meet the Amusement Ride Safety Act's legal requirements.
