Responsibilities
- Engage actively within an internal engineering team dedicated to achieving top-tier standards in design, development, and operational management of the Cloud Platform.
- Lead and support other development groups in adopting and utilizing the Cloud, setting a precedent for best practices.
- Gain exposure to and apply advanced techniques in large-scale automation, implementing cloud landing zones across multiple Cloud Service Providers.
- Take charge of the development and upkeep of the platform utilized by internal customers.
- Guiding teams in DevOps methodologies while contributing expertise in Automation, Availability, Scalability, and Resiliency to both the team and wider government development communities.
- Involves API development, backend automation using NodeJS/Python, and ensuring secure code deployment through various CICD toolchains like Gitlab, Atlassian, and Terraform.
Requirements:
- Min Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- Min 3 years of experience in API/ backend development and integration using NodeJS, Python.
- Familiar with cloud services in backend technologies: AWS, Azure and GCP.
- Proficient in agile development, secure pipelines, and deployment automation.
- Additional understanding of Cloud Landing Zone concepts like Control Tower, Terraform Landing Zone, Microsoft Azure CAF is beneficial.
