Purpose: testing systems and procedures to ensure they meet technical standards and creating quality and safety documentation. QA Engineers are responsible for identifying technical issues and getting to the root of the problem, too. They also proactively recommend solutions that’ll improve product durability and overall performance.
Key Area of Responsibilities:
- Assist in maintain Non-Conformities and Error Management processes and systems
- Chair Material Review Board (MRB) & Corrective Action Board (CAB)
- Manage non-conforming materials disposition. Lead cross-functional teams to drive robust corrective and preventive actions
- Perform analysis on non-conforming quality incidents and internal errors and provide recommendations to meet internal and customer requirements and expectations
- Support Customer Quality Engineering to investigate customer product complaints
- Lead and perform manufacturing process audit
- Assist in First article quality planning. Ensure first article readiness in quality inspections, measurements and documentations
- Support set-up processes and systems for first article quality assurance
- Manage first article non-conformity disposition
- Drive NPI and PQP quality requirements in new products
Qualification & Experiences:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering/Electrical or other relevant qualification.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Quality Engineer in MNC, preferred in the semiconductor/semiconductor equipment, electronics, or high-tech instrument industry.
- Good knowledge and practice in 8D, SPC, MSA, FMEA, QFD, 6-sigma methodology, PPAP, change management.
- Understanding of First Article Inspection requirements and expectations
- Experienced in Quality Management System (ISO9001, IATF16949).
- Experience in leading cross-functional teams for problem solving
- Understanding and experience in supplier quality management
- Good in statistical knowledge and 6-sigma methodology. Certified Black Belt or Green Belt preferred
