As the Assistant Executive Housekeeper, you will assist the Executive Housekeeper in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and order throughout our hotel. This position demands a dedicated professional with a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and a passion for creating an immaculate and welcoming environment for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervision and Training:
- Oversee the daily operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring cleanliness standards are met or exceeded.
- Train and motivate housekeeping staff to uphold the hotel's exceptional standards.
Quality Assurance:
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure all guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces meet the hotel's cleanliness and presentation standards.
- Implement and maintain rigorous quality control procedures.
Inventory Management:
- Monitor and manage housekeeping supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels.
- Collaborate with the procurement team to source high-quality cleaning materials.
Guest Satisfaction:
- Respond promptly to guest requests and concerns, ensuring a positive and comfortable experience.
- Collaborate with other departments to enhance overall guest satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within housekeeping, preferably in a 5-star hotel.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, procedures, and products.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Education: Diploma or degree in Hotel Management or a related field is preferred.
