An international financial institution with a strong focus on the APAC region is actively recruiting a Compliance Director to advise on key compliance issues and be the subject matter expert on compliance matters relating to fixed income products. You will develop and maintain strong relationships with key internal stakeholders to drive a consistent approach to risk management and compliance. Core businesses include debt and equity capital markets, fixed income sales and trading. Applicants must possess prior experience working with a top financial institution in a similar capacity.
Successful applicants will possess:
- A degree in accounting, business, finance or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 8 years’ experience in capital markets (sell-side) compliance.
- Familiarity with FAA, SFA etc. and solid understanding of Capital Markets products (Fixed Income and equities)
- A high degree of judgement and proven problem-solving skills to ensure sound implementation of control and compliance processes and procedures.
