We are a local lifestyle boutique (@thepalmpress) seeking and experienced, dedicated and customer-oriented shop manager to ensure the smooth running of in-store retail operations.
Our lifestyle boutique focuses on fashion and home products and there are both elements of in-house design & outsourced curation.
For our in-house design, mostly work with international artisans to develop and create products in small batches.
Our curated products come from both Singapore and worldwide, and are brought in to provide our customers an exclusive shopping experience.
We are looking an experienced person to grow with the company as we look to expand the business, with further opportunities in future.
Responsibilities:
- Cultivate strong relationships with customers through outstanding customer service.
- Identify customers' needs and recommend suitable shop items that best satisfy their needs.
- Take charge of daily operations, including staff management, sales targets, marketing and reports.
- Assist in efficiently running the outlet and addressing customer feedback.
- Foster teamwork and develop a sales team and maintain a positive working environment.
- Achieve sales targets and contribute to the branch's monthly sales goals.
- Analyse trends and monthly reports and work together with the team to come up with new ideas for marketing ideas each season.
- Undertake ad-hoc responsibilities when required
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the retail industry, with a proven sales track record.
- Independent, motivated, and proactive mindset.
- Strong sales focus, service-oriented approach, and a passion for the retail sales industry, particularly for lifestyle and clothing products.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively, display leadership qualities, and motivate colleagues.
- Willingness to work retail hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Deep enthusiasm for the fashion & lifestyle sector.
Salary and Benefits:
- 5 days work week (including at least 1 weekend per week).
- Salary commensurate with experience and skills.
- Full-time position with a combination of basic salary, commission, and incentives.
