Our client is a leading A1 main contractor with over 20 years of history in Singapore. Our client is mainly involved in residential, industrial and special niche projects as a main contractor. It has built up an impressive track record of notable and iconic projects.
Currently they are looking for 2 Senior Architectural Coordinators for an iconic building project in CBD area of contract value of 600 million. Among these 2 openings, 1 is to coordinate general architectural matters and another opening will focus more on façade. These 2 positions will report to the architectural manager of the project.
about the job
- Coordinate with consultancies, clients, and other trades to oversee all architectural work, including the coordination of shop drawings.
- Review and address architectural issues, such as drawing discrepancies, method statements, and correspondences, implementing effective solutions to ensure quality and productivity.
- Foster communication with subcontractors and vendors throughout projects to resolve conflicts, disputes, and unproductive work.
- Ensure adherence to architectural standards and achieve high-quality work without deviating from authority criteria.
- Manage scheduling, material requisitions, cost control, project supervision, and documentation in accordance with the Master Program.
- Monitor the progress of architectural work, coordinate drawings and tasks, and regularly update the status of shop drawings, samples, mock-ups, and materials.
- Prepare for and facilitate Quality Management (QM) and Construction Quality Assessment System (CONQUAS) assessments.
- Make sure the workplace is a safe place to perform work.
skills & experience required
- Degree/Diploma in Architecture or related field
- Minimum 5 years of architectural coordination experience in the construction industry
- Well versed in interpretation of architectural drawings
- Familiar with MS Office, AutoCad
