Responsibilities
- Partner with payroll service provider to manage payroll, including ensuring accurate and efficient payroll processing, compliance with local/ regional regulations and employment tax requirements, month-end/year end close procedures.
- Handle the processing and timely submission of Form IR21, NS make-up claims, and all government-paid leave claims.
- Manage end-to-end work pass-related issues, including application, renewal, cancellation, appeals, expiration, follow-up on medical check-ups, updating personal particulars with MOM, and visa applications.
- Provide in-depth analysis and insights on payroll data, that can be used by Finance/HR to forecast/ understand trends in employee costs.
- Provide advice to employees in relation to pay issues, incentives and resolving any payroll enquiries in a professional manner.
- Partner with 'Employment of Record' service providers for managing regional payroll.
- Participate in HR process improvements; improve and maintain regional HR policies and processes.
- Oversee the various HR systems and employee initiatives.
Requirements
- Related Diploma/ Degree qualified along with min. 3 years HR Operations exposure. (with strong knowledge of payroll and compliance).
- Meticulous and attention to detail.
- Communication and interpersonal skills combined with self-assurance and confidence.
- Ability to collaborate across different functions & open to new ideas.
- Strong individual who can work within team working environment,
- Agile mindset with a desire for a fast-paced environment.
