The Leasing Manager is responsible for formulating and implementing effective marketing strategies to maximize rental and occupancy for assigned properties, with a focus on self-storage spaces. The role involves sourcing and developing new clientele, establishing business and pricing models, conducting market research, securing new tenants, and maintaining positive relationships with existing tenants. The Leasing and Marketing Manager plays a key role in optimizing space take-up and ensuring revenue growth for the company.
- Formulate and implement effective marketing strategies to maximize rental and occupancy for assigned properties and self-storage spaces.
- Source, develop, and establish new clientele for self-storage through various channels, including business contacts from the parent group, networking with industry users, and engaging with local communities.
- Develop business, pricing, and engagement models for various clientele.
- Monitor self-storage space take-up, understand client requirements, and suggest product changes to enhance business lines.
- Conduct market research to understand industry needs and maintain up-to-date market benchmarks for industrial properties and self-storage spaces.
- Integrate findings into the Annual Marketing Plan, subject to regular review
- Source and manage leasing pipelines to improve lead conversion for industrial space.
- Increase property occupancy by collaborating with real estate professionals, local newspapers, and other media.
- Undertake any ad-hoc tasks assigned from time to time.
We are seeking a candidate with a bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Real Estate, or a related field, coupled with proven experience in leasing and marketing, preferably within the real estate industry. The ideal candidate will have a successful track record in developing and implementing effective marketing strategies, clientele development for self-storage spaces, and creating business and pricing models. Strong market research skills, the ability to secure new tenants, and excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
