Job Description
- Manage and ensure policies and procedures across the IT asset management lifecycle are complied with, including:
- Ensuring the completeness and accuracy of all IT hardware and software assets in CMDB by working with relevant IT stakeholders
- Software requests and license assignment adhere to the agreed process
- Performing software compliance analysis and identify non-compliant software for remediation
- All hardware and software assets are properly recorded and tagged, status and ownership are updated timely and accurately
- Wall-to-wall asset sighting/verification is performed periodically
- Asset disposals are in accordance with company policy and regulation
- Support the procurement of IT hardware, software and services as required, e.g. review of PRs, placing of orders
- Identify and implement automation and process improvement opportunities for IT asset management where possible.
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in IT, or relevant disciplines
- At least 2 years’ experience in IT Asset Management
- Possess working knowledge in ServiceNow, Snow, Lansweeper.
- Good knowledge on software licensing and asset management experience with major publishers such as Microsoft, Oracle, IBM, and VMware.
- ITIL certification is an advantage
- Strong knowledge in Excel and Powerpoint
- Meticulous and has strong attention to details
- Proactive and able to work with minimum supervision
- Team player and easily adaptable to dynamic environment
