Job Description:
The HR Manager holds a pivotal role in overseeing and managing various HR functions, including performance appraisal, recruitment, talent management, and retention planning. This position encompasses strategic planning, HR leadership, and collaboration with multiple stakeholders. The HR Manager will facilitate these crucial aspects across different countries (Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Taiwan) while aligning strategies with the company's mission and objectives.
- Develop and implement strategic HR plans and policies to support the company's mission and strategy
- Overall management of Human Resources & Administration
- Responsible for aligning and implementing overall Human Resources Strategy and Programmes with Group and Parent Company in Japan.
- Plan, design and execute Talent Management Development related activities for Group, working closely with Parent Company in Japan and affiliate companies.
- Ensure compliance with local laws and industry regulations, and provide advice to Group on legal implication of HR issues if necessary
- Enhance and implement measures to raise employee awareness towards CSR and define organization and governance structure for expanding businesses in Southeast Asia region
- Evaluation and maintenance of the current personnel appraisal system and preparation of rules and regulations
- Development and follow-up of recruitment, training, and retention planning.
- Work closely with the Managing Director to support the activities as representative of Group mainly from the Human Resources and Administration perspective as well as to support risk management (Liaise with the legal team in Japan HQ for advice if necessary)
- Handle daily general affair and admin duties including liaising with IT outsourcer and Japan HQ for any IT related issues
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 8 years of experience in Human Resource and Administration
- Good knowledge of cross-cultural communication, local and global legal standards as well as HR practices in Southeast ASIA region
- Proficient in the Japanese language is preferred in order to communicate and negotiate effectively with Japanese speaking counterparts in Japan.
- Working experience in Japanese company is required.
- Oversea travelling to Southeast Asia and Japan is expected. (About few times a year)
