Job Description
- Support operation and development projects primarily in the offshore business unit applying engineering principles to analyze, design, and diagnose subsea control systems.
- Support facilities, operations, and production teams with optimization opportunities for ongoing operation, new field developments and tiebacks to host facilities.
- They will also support subsea projects and activities offshore and will work with a range of service companies to support engineering, design, operation, and maintenance of subsea assets.
- Undertakes responsibility for production of deliverables, which may include engineering support, design calculations, procedures, analyses, progress reports, bid evaluations, study reports and various third-party submissions
- Ensures proper monitoring and operation including integrity management and maintenance of related SURF equipment not limited to topside located subsea hardware (SPCU, SDPU, HPU, MVP, TUTUs), all chemical, hydraulic, and electrical distribution to the Subsea Production Systems, trees, manifold, and jumpers
- Manages control system planned and unplanned maintenance and intervention, including sparing philosophies and inventory managementHighly focused on HSE and Process Safety always. Must show strong HSE leadership throughout the project life cycle.
- Highly focused on facilities construction and operational costs throughout the Project phases to ensure cost efficiency.
- Lead the delivery of projects range from the early eelect phase to post-FID (Final Investment Decision) Execution. A critical success factor for the successful delivery of these Projects (including screening, delivery, operation and HSSE) involves effective analysis, design, selection, and application of subsea production system.
- Manages Subsea Leak Detection system
- Makes informed decisions based on thorough analysis and risk assessment.

- Manages contracts with Subsea Control vendors and third-party service providers
Requirements
- Master’s degree in technical subject.
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in production operations, subsea controls design and operations, Instrumentation and controls, and exposure to process facilities
- Excellent written and oral command of the English language is essential.
- Basic understanding of the Spanish language is advantageous but not essential.
- Ability to travel and work worldwide.
