This is an exciting opportunity to join the group as Senior Legal Counsel where you will report to SVP Legal. Supporting the commercial side of the business, you will regularly review review and negotiate contracts with government agencies, contractors and suppliers relating to environmental projects. You will also support various business units in providing legal advice and assist in litigation matters.
Job Description
- Draft, review and negotiate contracts with government agencies, contractors and suppliers relating to environmental projects, which shall include tender contractual documents, PSSCOC, supply agreements, teaming agreements, consortium agreements, corporate guarantees, EPC contracts, M&E contracts, project documents etc.
- Proactively engaging with management and other internal stakeholders, to provide timely and practical legal advice to project and business teams
- Managing and advise on claims, dispute resolution arising from projects, engaging and working with external counsel and technical experts, as applicable.
The Successful Applicant
- Degree in Law from a recognised university and admitted to the Singapore with at least 6PQE
- Prior experience in legal firm or in-house practice with relevant construction law, water and environmental project experience
- Litigation experience will be an advantage
- Candidate must be willing to travel to the western region of Singapore for this position.
