Job Summary:
The Early Childhood Special Education (SPED) Teacher is responsible for providing specialized instruction and support to young children with special needs. This role involves creating and implementing individualized education plans to address each child's developmental delays and facilitate their growth and learning.
Job Description:
- To develop, prepare, implement Preschool programs & curriculums
- Ensure a safe, healthy and conducive learning environment for students
- Maintain student records
- Assess progress of learning and teaching programmes of the Preschool
- Implement Individualized Education Plan (IEP)
- Organize activities/outings for students
- Assisting in On-Job-Training (OJT) for new staff and interns
- Comply and adhere to ISO standards
- Adherence to NCSS/MSF requirements
- Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by Management
Job Requirements
- Minimum Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education or equivalent is preferable
- Relevant work experience in the Preschool setting is advantageous
- Able to work both independently and within a multi-disciplinary team
- Hardworking, meticulous and responsible
- Interest in working with children with special needs.
