Service Lead - Private Events

We are seeking a highly skilled and organised individual to join our team to lead the service crew for F&B Events. As the Leading Service Staff, you will be responsible for the setup, service and take down of each events. Your primary focus will be ensuring the smooth operation and excellent customer experience from set-up, to execution and to the completion of the event.


· Ensuring all items required for the events are packed, transported and unloaded at the event venue in a timely manner.

· Responsible for the efficient distribution and placement of tables, chairs, linens, and other necessary equipment according to event specifications.

· Ensure all food and beverages are served promptly and in line with the event schedule.

· Provide guidance and support to the team throughout the event to maintain service standards, including ensuring proper table etiquette, professional appearance, and attentive customer service.

· Address any customer inquiries, concerns, or special requests promptly and professionally.

· Lead a team of waiters and delegate responsibilities to ensure smooth operations.

· Train and mentor new waiters on event setup, service protocols, and customer service standards.

· Ensure all items are packed and loaded to be sent back to kitchen at the end of the event.

· Ensure all items are properly cleaned, packed and stored for future use.

· Any ad hoc duties as assigned.

Skills and expertise

We are looking for somebody who is:

Excellent team-player with the ability to work independently.

Strong leadership and communication abilities.

Knowledge of food and beverage service protocols, including table settings and proper serving techniques.

Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.

Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by event schedules.

Previous experience as a Head Waiter, Service Staff or similar role in F&B events or banquet settings.
