Job Description
The job is to establish and enhance high-quality piezoelectric material growth capability, and obtain piezoelectric materials with competitive electromechanical performance properties, particularly including piezoelectric single-crystals, as demanded for producing high performance ultrasonic transducers.
Requirements:
- Bachelor/Master degree holder in physics, material science, engineering
- Passion in use-inspired basic science or development of functional materials with competitive performance properties for device applications
- Hands-on experience, expertise, and skills in growing high performance piezoelectric single-crystals, particularly including Bridgman and/or solid-state crystal growth method
- R&D experience on any of the following topics is preferred but not necessary: ferroelectric thin films, ferroelectric physics, piezoelectric characterizations, ultrasonic transducers, and ultrasonic imaging
- Good track record in publication, patent, or commercialization in the relevant areas as stated above
