Job Description
A postdoctoral research fellow/senior position is available in Tan Yee Joo's lab to work on hepatitis B virus. The incumbent is required to work closely with fellow lab members and collaborators in a joint grant. The contract duration would be for 1 year.
Requirements:
- PhD in Biomedical Science or related fields.
- Highly experienced in common biochemical techniques including PCR, real-time PCR, Western blot and immunofluorescence assays.
- Highly experienced in mammalian cell culture methodologies including gene knockout/ knockdown, transient and stable transfections.
- Experienced in virology is preferred.
- Experienced in performing pathway analysis of datasets from proteomics and transcriptomics experiments is preferred.
- Experienced in chromatin immunoprecipitation assay is preferred.
- Have a strong publication record in peer-reviewed journals.
- Be able to work in a team and conduct independent research with excellent analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills.
