Quantity Surveyor

Minimum qualifications:

· Diploma in Quantity Surveying or equivalent practical experiences.

· 1 year of experience in Quantity Surveying. If you have just completed your studies in QS and are keen to learn, you are welcome to apply.

· Experience in handling corporate office costing build up

Preferred qualifications:

· Experienced in large commercial/corporate office fit out projects preferred (new build and renovations would be advantageous) including knowledge of MEP.

· Experience within a Design & Build or similar working environment as a Quantity Surveyor

· Ability to operate and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

· Ability to take on challenges and develop actionable plans and recommendations.

· Having strong work ethic and fighting spirit

About the job

Your knowledge of quantity surveying combined with your communication skills and analytical abilities shapes how new and existing businesses grow. Using your relationship-connection skills, you manages all aspects of the contractual and cost of construction projects. Working with the team, you set the costing on the right direction and work closely with Directors. Salary package depends on your years of experience and your strength.


Responsibilities

· Quantity take off and cost estimation

· Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities which involves quantity take-off, materials sourcing, measuring and estimating material and labor costs used in the tendering process

· Prepare progress claims in a timely manner

· Evaluate progress payment and VOs, and cost benefit analysis

· Assist Project Director/Manager in contractual issues
