Duties:
- You will be responsible for managing and conducting survey fieldwork for the research study. The fieldwork will consist of household interviews.
- You will hire and supervise a team of part-time student research assistants (RAs) to conduct face-to-face household interviews.
- You will supervise the planning, preparations, logistics, communications, documentation, and administrative aspects of the fieldwork.
- In the course of fieldwork, travel to various sites in Singapore is required, and working hours for fieldwork will include weekends or non-office hours.
- You will maintain records and provide regular updates on the data collection activities, and implement measures to ensure ethics compliance and data integrity.
- Prior to the survey fieldwork, you will assist in the organisation of focus group sessions. This includes the recruitment and communications with participants and preparing the materials.
- You will assist in cleaning transcripts of voice recordings from the focus group discussions.
- You will assist in data management and analyses, literature review, report-writing, and preparations for presentations.
- You will assist in Institutional Review Boards (IRBs) protocols, tracking grant budget and expenses, handling reimbursements to participants, submissions to the granting agency, and coordination with research partners.

Requirements:
- Minimum Bachelor's and/or Master’s degree in a social science discipline, preferably in Economics or Psychology
- Be able to work pro-actively and independently
- Have strong organizational and time management skills
- Experience in field data collection and proficiency in statistical software will be advantageous.
- Possess fluent communication and interpersonal skills
- Have a strong interest in empirical social and behavioural science research
- Have prior experience in applied social science research (such as a final year thesis or as a research assistant)
