1. Beverage Preparation:
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with accuracy, consistency, and creativity. Master the art of mixing cocktails, ensuring they are balanced, visually appealing, and reflect our brand standards.
2. Menu Knowledge:
- Familiarize yourself with our beverage menu, including cocktails, wines, beers, and non-alcoholic options. Be able to recommend items, provide descriptions, and suggest pairings to enhance the guest experience.
3. Customer Engagement:
- Interact with guests in a friendly, attentive, and professional manner. Anticipate their needs, answer questions about our beverages, and make personalized recommendations based on their preferences.
4. Upselling and Revenue Generation:
- Demonstrate a strong sales ability by upselling premium spirits, recommending specialty cocktails, and promoting limited-time offers or featured beverages. Contribute to the overall revenue goals of the establishment.
5. Cleanliness and Organization:
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, ensuring all equipment, glassware, and utensils are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized. Regularly restock supplies, garnishes, and ingredients to ensure efficient service.
6. Knowledge and Skill Development:
- Stay up-to-date with current industry trends, new cocktail recipes, and mixology techniques. Participate in training and development sessions to expand your knowledge of beverages, including spirits, wines, and beers.
7. Cash Handling:
- Process transactions accurately and maintain proper cash handling procedures. Handle guest payments, operate the cash register or POS system, and maintain a balanced cash drawer.
8. Collaboration:
- Work collaboratively with other team members, including servers and kitchen staff, to ensure smooth service operations, effective communication, and a positive work environment.
9. Safety and Compliance:
- Adhere to all relevant health and safety regulations, as well as company policies and procedures for responsible alcohol service. Ensure that guests are of legal drinking age and refuse service when necessary.
10. Continuous Improvement:
- Demonstrate a commitment to personal and professional growth by seeking feedback, attending training sessions, and actively seeking opportunities to expand your skills and knowledge.
