- Lead Interior Fit-out contractor specializing in Commercial projects
Dealing with Building Interior construction works, addition and alteration works, upgrading works, interior decoration works, loose furniture & built-in fitments, and M & E works. We are looking for an experienced Site Supervisor to supervise a wide range of construction projects from start to finish. You will assist the Project Engineer / Manager in overseeing construction works and ensure they are completed in a timely, safe, and efficient manner.
An excellent Site Supervisor must be well-versed in all construction procedures and able to coordinate a team of different disciplines and contractors to achieve the best results. The goal will be to ensure all projects are delivered on time according to requirements and without exceeding deadlines.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Report and assist the Project Manager on project functions including site management, risk control management, etc.
- Supervise and lead a team of workers and sub-contractors to perform on-site work.
- To plan, organize, and manage site operations to ensure efficient delegation of duties and responsibilities
- To supervise the execution of the construction works including subcontractors and ensure that the works are carried out in accordance with contract specifications/bills of quantities, construction drawings, company’s quality standards, and Environmental, Safety & Health (ESH) practices.
- Prepare and write daily reports related to site works, the progress of works and to ensure routine maintenance of machines is carried out according to schedule.
- Liaise with client or consultants for site inspections, submission of necessary technical reports and ensure necessary records are maintained at site.
- Oversee quality control and safety matters on the site and to ensure Environmental, Safety and health (EHS) practices are carried out at all times.
- Under the Workplace Safety & Health Act, employees have a duty to keep their workplace and colleagues safe by following safety and health procedures; reporting unsafe acts and incidents; and not tampering with safety devices or performing wilful/reckless acts.
- To attend site meetings.
- To ensure meeting deadlines for project completion.
- Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
Requirements
- With at least 3 years of relevant experience in interior fit-out or A&A projects (Interior renovation)
- Candidate must possess BCSS or relevant Interior renovation works
- Candidate must possess a local Polytechnic diploma in building / civil engineering or a relevant
- The site supervisor and management/Possess safety certifications..
- Must be able to read and understand Interior construction drawing
